After decluttering this basement, we found a suspicious puddle in a storage area... never good.
A quick glance upwards led us to a first floor toilet that had been leaking for years. Since the storage area was disorganized, the homeowners could have never noticed the leak. It's a very easy thing to miss in an unused space.
After patching the subfloor from below, we installed a new silicon seal and reinstalled the toilet -- problem solved!

OUR WORK
A recent kitchen remodel rerouted plumbing to the kitchen sink through a cantilevered bump out. Each winter, the customer experienced frozen pipes and was tired of leaving the water running through every cold spell.
The first step was to work our way through a neglected storage area... after 35 years in a home, things tend to pile up!
After sorting out the contents of the storage area, we were able to give it a thorough clean and make a sizable delivery to a local thrift store.
